First report on DP, could make excuses about no tripod and an evil camera... but on with the report
Originally A convent for the Sisters of Notre Dame, it was almost completely destroyed in WW2, some original walls and features remain in the grounds. In 1997 the site was acquired by Phase One Clinical Trials (Veeda). Closed 2011, site has been acquired for re development.
Its an odd site, the architecture and the ruins in the ground combined with some beautiful stained glass in the chapel clearly indicate a religious site, but once you enter it feels like a very unusual hospital atmosphere.
Sorry for the lack of external shots, it was to exposed and busy when I visited to get any without attracting attention.
I have posted this report on another site, mostly new text, but the same pictures, hope this is ok, really didn't manage to get any other useable ones!
