Love the pics of 724. Such a shame to see a Lightning left like that. Strange that both ailerons are down - I thought the control system would prevent that, even when hydraulic power is lost.

Hopefully someone will look after it soon!

Nicely done, that lightning is a great find, amazing aircraft.

I lived at Binbrook my dad was a flight lieutenant we lived almost at the top of the camp in a prefab not far from the officers mess , as my mum was expecting her 3rd child we moved to num 1 Salisbury Avenue , I can remember fondly being allowed to sit it a Lightening Aircraft it will always be my best memory of being RAF Child
