RAF Tilstock was operational between 1942 - 1946, most of the buildings still remain although many are in poor condition, the control tower is boarded up and apparently empty, there are many billet / hut style buildings Its mainly stripped out apart from ventilation and other pipe work. Other surrounding buildings have things still left in them but nothing from ww2, however there is still a very old car in one of them, believed to be a sunbeam Talbot 90 inside the main building we found what looked like a telephone exchange i think
