whilst in the area me and kevsy21 decided to check a few water based moochies out this one being the first.
its the outfall for the water treatment works on warrington road and has quite a fierce flow coming out of it making it almost difficult to take pictures with a tripod......ill add a little video at the end of this report at a later date, just to show the flow.
once past the flow and down the long chamber we was met by a T junction, with one side flowing really fast and the other hardly flowing at all.
heres a little about the plant.....(i think i have the right place)
"runcorn sewage treatment works serves the runcorn area and treats a mixture of domestic and trade effluent from the surrounding areas.
the industry from around the area ranges from chemical to food flavouring processors, so the incoming effluent can vary."
had a nice sweet smell to it almost like double trouble just down the road.
explored with kevsy21
kev looking up into the stair chamber...naturally i let him go in first and waited for him to shout back "yep its doable" lol
the fast flowing stair chamber....
looking back out once inside a mass of frothy water caused by the intense flow
into the main chamber.....this was about to take us into the treatment works
excuse kevs builder arse
the slow flow...this took you round to a huge water pit at the side of the works via an open chamber, we decided just to stick exploring in here and not the live water works above us.
the fast flow...this is where the main source of water was coming from
again sorry for kevs builders arse
