St John's Lunatic Asylum in Lincoln has been my first explore. I've seen plenty of other people post reports from here and it seems like everyone knows the history of it so i won't bore you all with it again.
This was my 2nd time of going, Failure to charge my camera battery adequately the night before ment i wouldn't be taking any pictures (schoolboy error) So a 2nd visit was arranged and with a fully charged battery we commenced our explore.
This time though it appears the builder had been busy and boarded all the ground floor doors and windows which left us with a challenge on our hands, but as the saying goes "where there's a will..."
Really enjoyed going around the place again, could have spent all day there, but the sound of voices halfway through got the better of us so we decided to leave. Where we stumbled upon a group of kids wandering round the grounds. "whats it like in there? One of them said "Mad!" i replied before making a dash for it.
Apologies if i balls up this post in anyway. Anyway on with the pictures.
Still could have spent hours looking round, so much more i didn't see. I think another trip is on the cards!
