Like all thrunites what I will say is they have got the battery life at a good standard level now. All there torches are truly water proof and I have no concerns about this so far.

As you can see completely submerged the torch functions as it should.

So in the kit as standard you get the charger
Spare seals and a lanyard

the charger port and leads have always on every torch felt very solid and well built, the lanyards are all of a good quality like the torch itself.

What I can say is this is a seriously punching focused beam as they have stated on their website. If you want to look a long way ahead of you or high up this is the torch for you. For walking around though this torch does not have enough spread to see each side of you for much of a distance. As you can see on the first photo it works very well for light painting .

So the pros the super long beam could be useful if this is what you require/ want

It’s light weight and compact

Super tough / fully waterproof

the standard impressive warranty

Down sides .

The light has not enough spread on it

The cost -there is much better thrunites out there for this money .

In the days of film cameras with fixed standard focal length lenses it was often possible to buy optically-matched wide angle and telephoto attachments. I do not know about the optics, but might it be possible to place such a wide angle attachment in front of the Thrunite's obviously high quality lens to produce a wider beam for general purpose lighting? Just an idea.
