Hi all
Well as Sunday is Google Earth day in my house, I found this little lot just sitting there waiting to have there pictures taken.
North of Swindon (Wilts) is the small village of Ashton Keynes which is surrounded on all sides by current and former sand and gravel quarry`s, and in one corner of a field is all the old quarry equipment. I went late afternoon then stayed till well after dark...
Pictures.
Sorry I don`t know what this bit of kit was.
This is one of the sand and gravel screens.
Next up is the Trommel
The next chunk of kit is the wash plant.
Then a few arty shots of rubber belts and stuff..
Well after sitting around for an hour or two and getting lots of odd looks from the local dog walking mob, it was time to do what I wanted to do all day, yep it had now gone dark...
So the same bits of kit as the day time this time at night..
Well there you go, two for the price of one, thanks for looking and all comments are more than welcome.
if you want more night and day time quarry goodness head on over to my FlickR page at:-
