Me and a mate went up here a few days after our Guiseley trip.
We spoke to the land owner, and being decent enough in hearing what we had to say, it was clear that he'd had enough of people busting it open and going into it on a regular basis and he was more concerned for health and safety if anything else. The chap said that the post had been gutted, but the insides were in good condition. So we respectfully thanked him and decided to leave, but thought I'd take a few external shots of its brilliant location overlooking the pennines
External parts of the post are in good condition with the odd flaking green paint here and there. Ground Zero Indicator mount and Radiation Monitoring Device mount still intact, and it looks like the post area is now used as some sort of posh sheep feed (only in Yorkshire!! )
As you can probably agree, you're not getting in that! Slightly dissapointing, but at least the insides are reasonably safe from any vandals this way
Cheers.
