This was a barrel of fun... Remind me never again to go searching for somewhere that you only have the vaguest idea of where it actually is beforehand. Spending nearly an hour tromping through snowy undergrowth is not particularly fun. Eventually however me and Landie Man managed to find what we had been looking for, and it turned out we'd been looking at it from a distance thinking it was an inhabited house for at least fifteen of those minutes.
I mainly wanted to go here for the few old cars dotted around in my continued efforts to document car graveyards, I knew the house was almost a total no-go due to massive water damage and no stairs but I had a nose anyway and nearly wished I didn't as the entire house stunk of manure. It wasn't very pleasant as you'd expect and there wasn't much to see in there that wasn't totally ruined other than a cool rusted Aga and some paperwork which gave the date of abandonment at around 1993.
Thanks for looking
