Steetley Magnesite was opened in 1937 to produce magnesium from seawater, it houses one of the worlds largest settling tanks, and this is the main focal point of the site along with the chimney. There is currently a planning application for the site to build 500 homes, but this is on hold due to rare birds nesting on the site.
As you are aware, the site is basically a GIGANTIC pile of rubble, but it's really fun to explore, with loads of culverts and underground rooms to surprise yourself with. The skies on my photos were actually natural - it was that pre-storm sky that makes HDR unnecessary.

Thanks to LIO112 for driving
Many thanks to Krypton for telling us where everything was
Thanks for looking
