My second ever post, more pictures this time.
Loth / Crackaig chain Home Site. Situated between the A9 and the sea and a railway line. The train drivers will sound the train's horn if you wave at them
Lots of structures, well spread out along the coast, so a nice walk too. Don't really know what any of them were for so only a few "facts" and a little narration.
The first one we came to... The only one not ankle deep in sheep leavings. Lots of cooling and underfloor access ways.
There are several bunkers of a similar design here, again with lots of air ducting.
And then there's the enormous two story thing.
Big inside space, nasty phone camera...
Moving down towards a couple of other bunkers we came across this rifle range. Nice. The backstop of the range was the covering of another bunker (which I'm standing on) with a mast base nearby.
Quite a lot of these targets lying around.
Another similar bunker was a bit further away but someone was getting bored and I wasn't allowed to go look
On the way back we passed this little chap. With a ladder.
Of course I did.
And these huts and toilet block remains.
There was probably a lot more to find but ran out of afternoon and had to head home.
